SERA for Initial Pilot Training

Any pilot knows that the first radio call in a real aircraft can be a terrifying experience, so why not introduce radio fundamentals from the beginning of initial pilot training? Students who perfect their radio skills outside the aircraft have more confidence and lower failure rates than their traditional student counterparts. With SERA, students never have to train in the unrealistically barren environment so common in flight simulation today.

From day one, students interact with proper phraseology, other traffic, and a wide variety of ATC accents and speeds. Instructors can set aside their role-playing scripts and let students experience realistic scenarios from the onset of their flight training journeys. Start with simple Visual Flight Rules (VFR) patterns and progress to complex Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) flights with multiple approaches, diversions, and emergencies. SERA is the answer for confidence and competency on the radio.
